Blackcat Threads & More Closet is a free store for BSISD students.

They can obtain new/gently used clothes, shoes, underwear, socks, coats, and personal hygiene items. Students are referred to the closet through their campus nurse or counselor.

Clothing should be clean and free of rips, tears, holes, stains, odors, working zippers, and not missing buttons, not too badly worn, and modest in appearance with no inappropriate slogans or wording.

Shoes should also be gently used and should be practical for everyday wear; tennis shoes/sneakers and similar shoes are ideal.  For women, flats or small heels are preferred. Shoes should be clean on the inside, not be too worn or scuffed, have inside linings that are intact & without holes, and have soles and/or heels that are well attached and free of strong orders.

NOT ACCEPTED:  Used underwear or socks, bathing suits, bedding and blankets.
